There is music for soothing babies in every culture. Mother Helen Yeomans started an acapella singing group bringing together beautiful lullabies from all over the globe and named it Thula Mama after one of the songs. The mother and baby group quickly caught on and now Helen is offering franchises across the country for you to start your own group.
The Soul Cool Babies CD is the first to be released by Thula Mama. It is packed full of gorgeous songs sung without music. It includes songs from Africa, America, Spain and Russia to name a few as well as a couple of compositions by Helen herself. The CD comes with lyrics so you can learn the songs to sing to your baby yourself. You could even listen to it before your baby comes so that the songs are familiar when they are born.
